We invite you to slow down. In the heart of Caldas da Felgueira, between the rivers and the forested hills, our cabins and spa offer a quiet pause between nature and village life. Here, the village, the water and the landscape move at their own gentle pace - and so will you.
The Land
Pantanha takes its name from the small river - the Ribeira da Pantanha - which flows through Caldas da Felgueira before joining the Mondego, Portugal’s longest river, born in the Serra da Estrela. It’s the thread that ties everything together here: the forest, the bridge, the thermal baths and the daily life of the village itself.
The Nature Houses
Our cabin nature houses sit on old terraced land in the heart of the village - once home to olive trees and small fields shaped by stone walls over a century old. Surrounded by greenery, and just a short walk from the river and the spa, they feel both part of the village and quietly apart from it.
Each cabin is designed to blend into the landscape - simple lines, natural materials, and large windows that open to the green hills. Inside, there’s a sense of calm and easy comfort; outside, private decks overlook olive trees and the soft light of the valley.

- Private outdoor deck
- Access to the Spa
We created these spaces for quiet moments: reading by the fire, unhurried mornings, and evenings under the stars.
The Spa
Our spa draws on the thermal heritage of Caldas da Felgueira - known for its warm mineral waters and long tradition of wellbeing.
Set a short walk from the cabins, it’s a quiet space designed for restoration: a warm pool, steam room, sauna, and simple treatments that focus on balance rather than excess. Natural stone, soft light and the sound of water shape the atmosphere. You move slowly here - from warmth to stillness, from tension to ease.
Spa access is included for all Pantanha cabin guests. It’s also open to the public, with a daily access fee of €20.

Rooted in Nature
Pantanha was born from this valley - from the light, the silence, the scent of pine and olive trees. We wanted to create a place that honours the landscape and offers what we often lack: stillness, comfort and space to breathe. Wake to birdsong, make coffee on the terrace, read, walk, or do nothing at all.
